Overview

The CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Operative Test is the mandatory touchscreen assessment for construction operatives and labourers applying for a CSCS Labourer Card or other relevant site access cards in the UK. The test evaluates a candidate’s knowledge of essential health, safety, and environmental practices required to work safely on construction sites.
